Functions of the Global AI-Chat
The general AI chat, which is available directly on the dashboard page, is a general AI tool that can be used to quickly answer a wide range of questions, query knowledge and create solutions and concepts.
The AI chat provides short and concise results and is therefore suitable for quick queries without the need to obtain large and comprehensive reports. AI Research is suitable for the latter.
It is a so-called RAG system (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), i.e. a software system that combines information retrieval with a Large Language Model (LLM). The INNO-VERSE AI chat therefore consists of the combination of an LL model and the stored data that is accessed for the question.
Depending on which data is accessed, the system has the following functions
- AI-generated answers based on the LLM (Large Language Model)
- AI-generated responses based on the World Wide Web
- AI-generated answers based on data imported into the hub
- AI-generated answers based on the INNO-VERSE content (innovation database)
- AI-generated answers to questions about the INNO-VERSE software
Structure and use of the AI Chat
After calling up the AI chat, a separate chat window opens on the right-hand side:
- AI CoCreator text field
- Input field for the user questions
- Task area: pre-definable questions for the chat (questions can be defined individually for each hub)
Entering questions
After opening the chat, any type of question or request can be submitted to the AI chat. By specifying the desired sources in the question, the LLM (Large Language Model) accesses the respective data when creating the answer:
- World-Wide-Web
- Data that has been imported into the hub
- INNO-VERSE content (innovation database)
- INNO-VERSE Software Support
Follow-up questions or new question
If the first question is to be deepened, expanded or continued after the answer, then these questions can simply be entered in the existing chat. The AI ‘remembers’ the first question and takes the question and answer into account for the follow-up questions.
If a new question is to be created, it is advisable to click on ‘Start new chat’ in the top right-hand window menu; the question history will then be deleted.

AI chat can be used to research and process any type of information that is available on the World Wide Net.

Short analyses, summaries and reports
Creating short analyses of markets, technologies, industries or customers based on freely available information is an important competence of AI Chat. The tedious task of researching and summarising is completely taken over, providing short and concise results such as

Quick creation of initial problem solutions, concepts and strategies
Creative tasks such as creating solutions to problems, concepts or strategies are also possible via AI chat. A wide variety of applications can be carried out using simple keywords for the desired results (e.g. ‘Marketing plan for the launch of product X in Germany...’)
