Functions of AI Research
The "AI Research" tool offers a comprehensive option for using AI for reports, analyses, searches and research. LLM (Large Language Model) and external data sources are combined.
The LL Model creates analyses and reports based on the data source specified by the user. The data source can be the entire web (i.e. a complete web search is used as the database for a report) or data provided by the user (company data, studies, scientific papers, etc.)
AI Research therefore carries out a web or data search based on the task, analyzes the relevant sources and creates a clearly structured report with the data found.
The following tasks are possible, among others:
- Trend analysis
- Market analysis
- Business models
- Technology reports
- Customer analysis
- etc.
Creating a new AI Research
- Navigate to Dashboard / Tools / to one of your Workspaces and click on the Create new + button in the top right corner
- Select the location (workspace / folder) where you want to create the AI Resaerch
- Select AI Research and then click Create +
- Select a template: different templates are available depending on your license:
- Generic Task: use this for quick reports to any kind of topic you like
- Trendscout: this template can be used to identify trends and developments in a market, sector or country
- Trend and technology monitoring: this template helps to analyze a trend or technology in detail, to understand its content, start-ups, etc.
- Company information: This template researches background information (turnover, news, innovations, ...) on a selected company, competitor.
- PESTEL analysis: a form of external market environment analysis for companies and organizations. It looks at the most important environmental factors that affect a business area. PESTEL stands for political (Political), economic (Economic), socio-cultural (Social), technological (Technological), ecological-geographical (Environmental) and legal (Legal) influencing factors.

- In the next step, you are asked to enter relevant information for the research or question. These input fields are depending on the template.
- In the last creation step, you can add an optional image, enter the titel and the status (private or public for other hub users)
Working with AI Research - Manager role
- Managers can access the settings, change the research title and topic, and manage the participants.
- Managers can change the appearance of the research by changing the order of the widgets or hiding or showing individual widgets.
- AI-generated text can be edited or overwritten by the manager.
- Using the "Share" button, the manager can even share the AI research with people who do not have access to the INNO-VERSE.
- Managers can use the AI Chat (button on the right side bottom) and add chat answers as notes to the AI Research
Working with AI Research - Team member role
- Team members can access the AI Research and read the research.
- Members can use the AI Chat (button on the right side bottom) but cannot add chat answers as notes to the AI Research

Searching and researching information
The AI chat can be used to research and process any type of information that is available on the World Wide Net and previously defined data sources:

Analyses, Summaries and Reports
Creating analyses of markets, technologies, industries or customers on the basis of freely available information is an important competence of AI Research. The tedious task of researching and summarising is completely taken over, providing detailed and fully prepared results such as:

- Market forecasts
- Trend analyses

Creation of problem solutions, concepts and strategies
Creative tasks such as developing solutions to problems, concepts or strategies are also possible using AI research. A wide variety of applications can be carried out using keywords for the desired results (e.g. "Marketing plan for the launch of product X in Germany...")
