Workspace Tools: Copy a Tool

To be able to copy a tool (Collection, Innoboard, Trendradar, AI Research, Notebook), you must be the manager of the tool. 

Steps to copy a tool

• Navigate to the workspace tools by clicking on the Workspaces menu item and selecting the desired workspace there (your hub administrator may have disabled the menu item Workspaces. Then follow this article: Copy a Tool in the menu item Tools)
• Find the tool you want to copy and click on the three-dot menu > Copy

Note: Alternatively, you can also click on the three-dot menu at the top right of the title image in the tool and select Copy.

• Optionally enter a new title for your copy
• Use the checkbox to select whether you want to remove all users from the copy

Note: If you do not remove the participants, they will receive a notification that they have been added to a new tool immediately after the copy has been created. The participants automatically have the same role as in the original tool.

• Click on the Copy without Content checkbox if the copy should be created without content 

Note: "Content" refers to the following:

• For Innoboards: the contributions/posts of all participants
• For Collections: all articles that are in the Collection
• For Trendradars: the evaluations and comments of all participants

• Then click on Copy
