Create a new AI Trendradar in the workspace

To create a new AI Trendradar, you must be an administrator of the workspace.

Steps to create a new AI Trendradar

• Navigate to the workspace in which you want to create the Collection and click on Create new + in the top right-hand corner under the workspace banner
• If all requirements are met (your hub license includes the Trendradar and you are the administrator of the workspace), the Trendradar will become active and you can click on it
• Then click on Create +
• Now enter all the relevant information required to create the trend radar: a description of the company (e.g. “automotive manufacturer, premium segment” or “healthcare tech company”) and the topics that should definitely be included in the radar (e.g. battery technologies, artificial intelligence, data security, etc.)
• Optionally, you can upload PDFs and attach websites

Note: The contents of the PDFs and websites are taken into account in the AI generation of the trends.

Trend list of the Trendradar 

• Now it's time to create the trend list. You can choose between 3 options:
  • The AI should - based on your input - suggest suitable trends from your hub's trend list
  • The AI should - based on your input, web research and the PDFs and URLs you have attached - generate trends itself
  • The AI should do nothing and you select the trends from your hub's trend list manually
• After you have selected one of the options, the trend list is generated 
• The following applies to all three options: Once the trend list has been generated, you can change/add to the selection if necessary:
  • Click on the checkbox to the right of the name of the respective trend to select or deselect it
  • Create new trends by clicking on “Add macro trend” or “Add megatrend”
• When you are happy with the selection of trends, click Next again at the bottom right
• In the last step, you need to enter the basic information (title, status and cover image, if applicable) of the radar
  
  

Note: All these settings and details (company description, topics and the trend list) can be edited afterwards in the radar settings.

• Then click on Create radar
