Functions of the workspaces
By default, each hub has at least one workspace; depending on the license, there may of course be several. You can access the selected workspace via the Workspaces menu item at the top right or via the workspace widget in the dashboard.
Various topics and projects can be handled in the workspace using tools. We recommend creating a separate workspace for each topic area or department.
The Trendradar, Collections, Innoboards and the AI Research are referred to as tools.
The workspace overview
Clicking on Workspaces in the main menu at the top right takes you to the workspace overview. All existing workspaces in the hub are listed here. The labels on the respective workspaces show which workspace role you have in the respective workspace and whether the workspace is publicly accessible or private. Hub administrators can also create new workspaces here.
Workspace Dashboard
When you enter a workspace, you land on the workspace dashboard. This dashboard shows all the tools and application options that a workspace has:
Tools and Ressources
The most recently used tools are displayed directly below the workspace header in the "Recent Tools" display field. Click the "See All" button to access the Workspace Tools page.
The folder structure of the workspace is displayed to the right.
Within a workspace, folders with three sublevels can be created. Folders can be created and managed on the Workspace Tools page.
Workspace Feed
The latest innovations - in line with the theme of the workspace - are continuously displayed here for all workspace participants. The feed draws its content from the content database and can be customized: Innovations from suitable mega and/or macro trends as well as suitable for industries and sub-industries.
Discussions
Within a workspace, participants can communicate directly with each other in so-called discussions. Discussions can be created by administrators and function like chats or discussion forums in which anyone can post and comment on contributions.
The Workspace Tools page
If you click on the See all button in the workspace overview, you will be taken to the workspace tools page. Click here to go to the tutorial.
Working in Workspaces
The INNO-VERSE hubs and workspaces are designed to support innovation and strategy work for companies and organizations. The fundamental phases in innovation management and the development of innovations are taken into account:
Phase 1: Determine the future, trends and fields of innovation
In this phase, the Trendradar tool, research via AI Research tool or AI-generated future scenarios in the Innoboards are useful. Innovation fields can also be defined with the help of the Innoboards.
Phase 2: Inspiration and research on the topic of innovation
Current innovations can be searched for in the Content area for the selected innovation fields. The AI Research can also be used here again.
Phase 3: Development of innovations
The creation and development of innovations and ideas can be carried out in teams of any size and with AI support in the Innoboards.
