Content Function
The Content section offers a complete database of current innovations in all known mega and macro trends and across all industries. The database is constantly updated and offers various options for using the content:
- share interesting articles with other users
- combine articles on certain topics in collections
- use an article as the basis for a post on the Innoboard
You can also create your own content in the content area and publish it for all hub users.
Constantly updated with the latest innovations by in-manas
Our in-manas scouting team researches new innovations on a daily basis and publishes them under the “Innovation Insights” article type in INNO-VERSE. Content that has been summarized with the help of AI and subsequently revised by our scouting team is marked with the type “Inspirations by AI”.
Content search
Various search and filter options are available in the search to find suitable content. If the search field is used, the “elastic search” is applied (the search results of the elastic search are ranked by relevance, not by publication date. If the search term appears more often in the text, the article has a higher relevance, if the search term also appears in the linked tags, the relevance increases further, etc.). Click on the small question mark below the search field to find out how to use AND and OR operators.
The advanced search opens the following filter criteria:
- Content type (e.g. “Innovation Insights”)
- megatrends
- macro trends
- industries
- sub industries
- tags
You can find more detailed information on searching in the content here.
Article View
When an article is opened, a link to the original source of the innovation is available in addition to images, text, trend/industry/tag links. The following three buttons are located to the right below the article title:
- Star button: This button can be used to add the article to a collection
- Share button: share the article with other users of your hub
- Tool button: Using this button, you can select an Innoboard and insert the article as an Innoboard post (user must be a member or manager of the respective Innoboard). The text, image and link are copied. The article can then be edited in the respective Innoboard
Create your own content (innovations, news, studies, etc.) in the hub
As a Hub administrator or Hub member with CMS authorizations, you will see the "admin mode" and "create" buttons when you enter the Content menu item.
It is possible for users to add articles to the database within their own hub and use them in the system. The articles can be created manually or with the help of AI.
You can find a detailed description of how to create your own content here:
Admin Mode
Admin mode opens an overview of all the content you have created in the hub. All content can be edited, archived and deleted.
Apart from the hub administrator, users with the following authorizations can create/edit articles:
- Hub member with “Create articles” content authorization: Can create articles, but only sees their own articles in admin mode. Can only publish articles of the type “User Content” themselves (= set status to approved)
- Hub member with “Create articles” and “Manage organization content” content permissions: Can create articles. Can see their own articles and those of all others in content admin mode. Can edit the articles of others and publish all articles (= set status to approved). Can access the Content tab in the hub administration and create authors, tags and newsletters there.
