The individual fields of a contribution card can be customized. Field titles, placeholders and description texts can be changed, individual fields can be hidden, or new text fields can be added. To be able to customize this, you must be the manager of the Innoboard.
Steps to customize the idea form
- Navigate to your tools and find your Innoboard
- Click on the Innoboard's three-dot menu ("Options") and select Settings
- Go to the Tab Idea Form
- You will now see the existing contribution card and can edit, add, or remove individual fields
- Click on Edit to change existing fields. You can make the following changes within a field in the relevant languages:
- Edit title
- Edit placeholder text (the text that is in a field before the user has added any text)
- Edit a hint (the text below the field)
- Click on Add Item to create a new field and fill out:
- Title
- Placeholder text (the text that is in a field before the user has added any text)
- Hint (the text below the field)
- You can also create a description text for the CoCreator if the Innoboard template you are using includes the CoCreator
| Note: The description for the CoCreator defines the prompt that the CoCreator will use to help the user generate ideas. The prompts in the predefined fields have been developed by the in-manas developers. They are continuously optimized and adapted. |
- You can also show and hide individual fields by clicking on Hide/Show
- To save your changes, click on Update at the bottom of the idea card
| Note: Once you update the idea form, all ideas (existing and new) will follow that form. |
